The official game of the Lambda Alpha Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi is Combat Uno. I'm not sure how common the game is outside of our district and the people that the Porter family have drawn into their web of Uno card madness. Kelly Porter is a giant, bird-loving lumberjack who forever changed the course of Lambda Alpha history by teaching us the game that has just completely taken over all fraternity events.
The normal way you play Uno is basically Crazy 8s. For the uninitiated, Combat Uno moves much faster. You can play out of turn, you only have to draw one card if you don't have the right color or number, and you can stack draw cards. It's fast and insane and loud. It reminds me of the Russian roulette scene in Deer Hunter, that's how intense it can get. I imagine that some people probably have war flashbacks about certain Combat Uno games.
